German Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
4 eggs
1 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. orange juice
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. peeled thinly sliced apples
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Combine first 3 ingredients; set aside.
Beat eggs in sugar. Combine oil and orange juice.
Add alternately with dry ingredients to egg mixture.
Mix until smooth; add vanilla and beat well.
Pour 1/2 batter in greased and floured tube pan. Arrange 1/2 apples over batter.
Combine cinnamon and sugar. Sprinkle over 1/2 of apples.
Top with remaining butter, apples and sugar.
Bake at 350\u00b0
for 1 hour.
