Inexpensive Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. flavoring (lemon or vanilla)
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Grease and flour a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Beat eggs until light and fluffy.
    Beat in sugar, salt and flavoring.
    Bring to a boil the milk and butter.
    Add to the egg mixture and mix, then add the flour and baking powder quickly; beat until thoroughly mixed. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 35 minutes.
    Check at 25 minutes.
