Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks butter, softened
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 oz. red food coloring
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 1/3 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vinegar
    8 oz. cream cheese (soft)
    1 lb. confectioners sugar
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream 2 sticks butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla in bowl.
    Add sugar, 1/3 cup at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each.
    Stir in next 2 ingredients, mixing well.
    Add flour, 1/3 cup at a time, alternately with buttermilk, beating well after each addition, beginning and ending with flour.
    Combine soda and vinegar.
    Add to batter, mixing well.
    Pour into 3 prepared pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until cake tests done.
