Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 large onion, chopped
1 egg
2/3 c. whole milk

Preparation

Mix all ingredients.
Let stand 1/2 to 1 hour before cooking. Drop by teaspoons into hot grease.
