Baby Ruth Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. butter or shortening
    2 small bars Baby Ruth, cut in small pieces
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until smooth.
    Beat in egg.
    Stir in other ingredients.
    Chill and drop by 1/2 teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Makes 50 to 75 cookies.
