Pecan Fingers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening (half butter)
    3/4 c. powdered sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream shortening and powdered sugar.
    Blend in flour.
    Press evenly in ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
    Mix remaining ingredients.
    Spread over hot baked layer.
    Bake 20 minutes longer.
    Cool and cut into 3 1/2 x 1-inch bars.
    Makes 32.
    While warm, spread with Orange Lemon Icing.
