Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 slices bread
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 lb. shredded American cheese
2 c. diced, cooked chicken
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 can cream of chicken soup
Preparation

Cube 2 slices bread.
Place in a greased 11 x 7-inch baking dish.
Combine chicken, onion, celery, mayonnaise, salt and pepper in bowl.
Spoon over bread.
Top with remaining bread slices. Beat eggs and milk and pour over bread and chicken.
Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours.
Spoon soup over bread and sprinkle with cheese and cover.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Let stand covered 5 minutes before serving.
