Cabbage Roll Casserole - cooking recipe

1 small head cabbage (torn in small pieces)
1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, minced
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 c. tomato soup (mixed with 1 can water)
sauerkraut for top (1 c. or more)
