Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. cornmeal
2 eggs
4 Tbsp. buttermilk
8 Tbsp. sweet milk
salt to taste
chopped onions, if desired

Preparation

Mix meal and onions; add buttermilk and sweet milk.
Add eggs; add water to get right consistency.
Drop by tablespoon into hot fish grease.
Turn until brown.
