Sour Milk Biscuits - cooking recipe

2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
3 Tbsp. shortening
3/4 to 1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Sift flour, salt, baking powder and soda.
Cut in shortening. Add buttermilk until blended.
Roll 3/8-inch thick.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in 475\u00b0 oven.
