Ingredients

1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped dates
1/2 c. chopped, peeled apples
1 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. liquid sweetener
2 eggs
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 to 2/3 c. nuts
Preparation

Boil raisins, dates and apples in one scant cup of water for three minutes.
Add shortening.
Cool.
Add beaten eggs, sweetener, vanilla and soda.
Add flour and nuts last.
Mix well.
Chill dough overnight in refrigerator in covered pan.
Drop by teaspoon on well-greased sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Store in refrigerator in tightly covered container.
