Sliced Baked Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium-large potatoes
    chopped herbs (scallions, parsley, chives, thyme or sage)
    dried herbs (if fresh is unavailable)
    grated cheese (Cheddar or Parmesan)
    melted butter
Preparation
    Wash potatoes and peel if skin is thick or tough.
    Put potatoes into thin slices but not all the way through.
    Use a handle of a spoon to prevent knife from cutting all the way.
    Put potatoes into a baking dish.
    Fan them slightly.
    Drizzle with butter.
    Sprinkle with herbs.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for about 50 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake another 10 to 15 minutes until lightly browned.
    Serves 4.
