Western-Style Asparagus - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slices bread
1 bunch fresh asparagus
1/8 c. butter/margarine
Preparation

Prepare asparagus by cutting or breaking off the hard part. Cut in 1 or 2-inch pieces.
Steam until tender (about 10 minutes). While asparagus is cooking, cube bread slices and saute in a large frying pan with butter.
Brown bread cubes, then add asparagus and mix evenly.
Serves 6 to 8.
