Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 medium can fruit cocktail with juice
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Sift flour and soda; add remaining ingredients.
    Stir real good.
    Pour into oiled cake pan.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
