Fish Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    salt pork
    2 small onions
    5 medium potatoes
    1 c. evaporated milk
    2 c. hot water (fish stock)
    2 to 3 lb. fish
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 to 2 c. milk
    2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cut salt pork into 1/2-inch pieces.
    Fry pork until golden brown.
    Remove pork.
    Dice and fry onions in remaining pork grease.
    Boil potatoes.
    Cut into cubes.
    Boil fish.
    Remove skin and bones.
    Keep 2 cups of water from boiled fish.
    Combine all ingredients and heat thoroughly.
