Spicy Black-Eyed Pea Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 slices bacon, cut into small pieces
    1 c. onion, chopped medium
    2 c. tomatoes, chopped medium
    1 clove garlic, minced
    pinch of salt
    dash of black pepper
    3 c. water
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    2 Tbsp. jalapenos, finely chopped
    4 cans (15.8 oz.) black-eyed peas
    3 c. grated Cheddar or Swiss cheese
Preparation
    In
    a
    saucepan, saute the bacon until lightly browned. Saute onions, jalapenos, tomatoes, garlic, salt and pepper in the bacon and bacon drippings.
