Cinnamon Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon, divided
    1/2 c. margarine, softened
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 c. fresh diced rhubarb
    2/3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Stir together flour, baking powder, soda, salt and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon; set aside.
    In large bowl of mixer, beat margarine and 1 1/2 cups sugar until creamed.
    Add eggs and vanilla; beat until fluffy.
    Add flour mixture alternating with butter and milk, beginning and ending with flour.
    Stir in rhubarb and nuts.
    Spread smooth in greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
    Mix remaining 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon; sprinkle on batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 45 minutes.
    Makes 12 to 15 servings.
