Banana Oat Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
3/4 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
2 large eggs
1/4 c. milk
2 medium or 3 small very ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 c.)
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/3 c. old-fashioned rolled oats
Preparation

Beat butter and sugar about 1 minute until blended and free of lumps.
Add remaining ingredients, reserving 1 tablespoon oats. Beat until batter is smooth.
Pour into greased loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
Before baking, sprinkle remaining oats on batter.
Raisins or nuts may be added.
