Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. onions, thinly sliced
    2 c. leeks, thinly sliced
    1/2 c. butter
    4 c. broccoli (about 2 lb.)
    4 c. chicken stock
    2 c. heavy cream
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a large pot, melt butter.
    Add onions and leeks.
    Saute over moderate heat until they are soft, approximately 15 minutes. Add chicken stock and broccoli (washed and chopped).
    Cover and simmer until broccoli is tender, about 10 minutes.
