Country Style Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising corn meal mix
    1/4 c. melted shortening or oil
    1 1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Grease skillet and place in oven to heat. Measure meal into mixing bowl.
    Add shortening and milk.
    Stir to blend thoroughly.
    Pour the batter into hot greased pan.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
