Ingredients

1/4 c. mashed banana
1/2 c. peanut butter
2 large eggs
3/4 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. white flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped peanuts
Preparation

Beat together mashed banana, peanut butter, eggs, vanilla and butter until creamy.
Add flour, baking powder and nutmeg.
Beat well.
Stir in chopped peanuts.
Drop batter by rounded teaspoonfuls onto lightly oiled cookie sheets.
Press each cookie down with the back of a fork and again in the opposite direction to indent a checkered pattern into each cookie.
(Wet the fork with cold water occasionally to avoid sticking.)
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 5 to 8 minutes or until lightly brown.
