Ingredients

3 lb. lean London broil or chuck roast
3/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. original Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. honey
2 Tbsp. ketchup or barbecue sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Slice meat diagonally across the grain with a very sharp knife into 1/4-inch thick strips 4-inches long (set aside).
Combine remaining ingredients into mixing bowl.
Mix well.
Pour the marinade mix over the beef strips in a shallow glass dish. Marinate for 30 minutes, turning the meat several times.
Arrange beef on cake racks placed on cookie sheets lined with aluminum foil.
Bake in oven at 180\u00b0 for 12 hours.
Remove the jerky from the racks.
Cool to room temperature before storing in airtight jars.
