Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked (or 2 cans) asparagus
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    3 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
    1/2 c. grated American cheese
    1/4 c. slivered almonds
    1 c. cracker crumbs
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix 1/2 cup liquid from asparagus into cream of mushroom soup. Arrange half of asparagus, cheese, eggs and crumbs in alternate layers in buttered casserole; sprinkle with seasonings.
    Repeat layers.
    Pour the mushroom soup mixture over this and garnish with almonds.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Yields 6 servings.
