Old South Chicken Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole fryer (3 lb.)
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    2 heaping Tbsp. plain flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. chicken stock or broth
    2 Tbsp. milk or cream
    2 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and chopped
    2 unbaked deep dish pie shells
Preparation
    Boil chicken in salted water.
    When chicken is very tender, remove from stock, reserving the stock.
    Cool, then take meat off the bones.
    Cut chicken meat into bite size pieces.
    In a skillet, melt the margarine.
    Add the flour, salt and pepper; stir.
    Slowly add the chicken stock, stirring to keep mixture smooth, then add milk.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.
    Remove from heat.
    Add chicken and chopped eggs; mix well.
