Sugarless Fruit Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped dates
    1 c. chopped prunes
    1 c. chopped raisins
    1 1/8 c. hot water
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Combine dates, prunes and raisins in hot water.
    Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Cool.
    Stir in softened margarine, eggs and vanilla.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Mix into date mixture and add nuts.
    Spread into greased 8 x 12-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
