Corn Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 small onion
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. potatoes, diced
1 pkg. frozen kernel corn
1/8 tsp. white pepper
2 c. cold water or chicken broth
1 tsp. celery salt
1 c. light cream
1 Tbsp. minced parsley, chives or dill
Preparation

Fry onion in butter in a heavy pan over moderate heat for 5 minutes.
Add potatoes, corn, water, salt and celery salt.
Cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes until potatoes are done.
Add milk, cream and pepper.
Simmer 3 to 5 minutes.
Sprinkle with herbs.
