Acorn Squash With Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 acorn squash
    1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. blueberries (if frozen, thaw and drain well)
    3/4 c. finely diced apple
    1 Tbsp. butter
    salt
Preparation
    Cut squash in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
    Place in 12-inch plate, hollow side down and stems to the outside.
    Cover with plastic and microwave on High for 10 minutes, turning plate after 5 minutes.
    Test to see if done.
    Do not pierce skin.
    Let stand while preparing fruit.
    Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch and the 1/4 teaspoon salt.
    Blend well.
    Stir in fruit. Microwave, uncovered, on High for 4 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes.
    Stir in butter.
    Lightly salt each squash and fill with fruit.
    Serves 4.
