Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 qt. popped corn
1/3 c. corn syrup
1 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. white vinegar
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

In heavy 2-quart pan, stir together syrup, sugar, water, salt, butter and vinegar.
Stirring constantly, cook over medium heat until mixture boils.
Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until temperature reaches 270\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
Slowly pour over popcorn, stirring to coat well.
When just cool enough, but warm, shape into balls.
Keep in plastic wrap.
