Ingredients

2 pkg. yeast
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. warm water
1 c. milk, scalded
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 1/2 tsp. salt
6 1/2 c. flour
2 eggs, beaten
Preparation

Mix together yeast, 1 teaspoon sugar and warm water.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and let rise until double.
Roll out, cut as desired and let rise again.
Deep fat fry and glaze.
Glaze made with powdered sugar moistened with boiling water.
