Cranberry Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. almond extract
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. sour cream
    16 oz. whole cranberry sauce
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
    Add almond extract.
    Alternately add flour and sour cream.
    Pour in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Blop cranberry sauce on top and knead lightly.
    Sprinkle with almonds.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
