Buckingham Palace Scones - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 c. flour
pinch of salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
3/4 c. cold butter, cut into small pieces
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. raisins
1 egg, beaten
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Place first 4 ingredients in food processor.
Process until mixture is of cornmeal consistency.
Add sugar and raisins; blend mixture briefly.
Do not overmix. Scrape sides of processor if necessary, to balance mixture.
Add egg and milk.
Process quickly.
Mixture should form tight, smooth dough and be slightly moist.
