Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sweet potatoes, cooked
6 Tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 pastry shell
Preparation

Cover sweet potatoes in water and cook until tender enough to mash.
Drain, mash and measure for pie.
Melt butter and add to potatoes.
Add sugar, eggs, vanilla, salt and milk.
Blend until mixture is thoroughly mixed.
Pour into pastry shell.
Preheat oven to 450\u00b0 and bake for 10 minutes.
Lower oven to 350\u00b0 and bake for 40 minutes.
