Pepper Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 red peppers
    24 green peppers
    20 onions
    20 tart apples
    4 hot peppers
    5 c. sugar
    5 c. vinegar
    6 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Chop
    peppers,\tapples\tand onions.
    Cover with boiling water and let stand 5 minutes.
    Drain.
    Add vinegar, sugar and salt. Boil
    until
    transparent
    (about 20 minutes).
    Put into hot jars and seal immediately.
