Creole Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper
1/3 c. finely chopped onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 (15 oz.) can tomato puree
1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
Preparation

Melt butter in medium saucepan.
Cook green pepper, onion and garlic until limp.
Stir in tomato puree and mushrooms; simmer 25 to 30 minutes.
May be served on meat balls or with cooked rice.
