Star-Kist Tuna Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sliced onions
1/3 c. chopped green pepper
1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. crushed potato chips
14 1/2 oz. stewed tomatoes
1 can Star-Kist tuna (white or chunk style)
1 small can peas
1/4 tsp. thyme or other herb seasoning
Preparation

Saute onions and pepper in butter or margarine.
Cook noodles in boiling salted water for 10 minutes, or until tender; drain. Add salt and pepper to mushroom soup.
In greased 2-quart casserole, put half the noodles.
Cover with half the mushroom soup, half the onion mixture, half tomatoes and half can tuna, plus peas.
Repeat the layers.
Sprinkle with herb seasoning.
Top with potato chips.
Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Serves 6.
