Mock Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cold water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 tsp. cream of tartar
    25 to 30 Ritz crackers
    cinnamon
    margarine
Preparation
    Mix cold water, sugar and cream of tartar.
    Bring to boil and cook for 10 minutes.
    Add crackers and boil 1 1/2 minutes.
    Pour into pastry-lined pie pan; sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Dot with margarine and cover with lattice crust.
    Bake 25 minutes or until crust is brown at 425\u00b0.
