Potatoes And Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oil
    2 lb. bacon
    10 potatoes, sliced
    5 onions, sliced
    salt and pepper
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Put oil
    and bacon in a 12-inch Dutch oven.
    Cook until almost done.
    Add potatoes and onions.
    Sprinkle on plenty of salt and pepper.
    Cook
    30
    minutes.
    Check often and stir as needed. Drain
    off\tgrease.
    Sprinkle
    cheese over top during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
