Rye Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cakes yeast
    2 c. scalded milk
    3/4 c. mild molasses
    3/4 c. shortening
    white flour
    1 c. warm water
    3 c. warm water
    2/3 c. sugar
    5 c. rye flour
Preparation
    In a bowl, dissolve yeast 1 cup warm water.
    Mix in milk, molasses, 3 cups warm water and sugar.
    Mix well.
    Blend in shortening.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Mix in. Add enough white flour to make a sticky dough. Cover and let rise until doubled in size. Divide dough into fifths.
    Place each into greased loaf tin and allow to rise again.
    Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Makes 5 loaves.
