Garden Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium tomatoes, chopped
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    2 medium carrots, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    6 to 8 green onions, chopped
    1 packet Equal
    1 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 Tbsp. vegetable or salad oil
    1 lb. spaghetti
Preparation
    Put vegetables in pot and cover tightly.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.
    Add seasonings. Recover and cook over medium-low heat for 5 minutes.
    Add the oil and simmer for 30 minutes or until the carrots are tender.
    Cook the spaghetti and drain.
    Toss spaghetti and sauce together.
