Aunt Emmie'S Festive Apple Bread(Makes 2 Large Loaves Or 4 Small Loaves) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
3 large eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 (10 oz.) jars maraschino cherries, drained and sliced
2 Tbsp. cherry juice
2 c. apples, peeled and diced
2 c. nuts (pecans, walnuts or mixed)
raisins (if desired)

Preparation

Grease 2 large or 4 small pans.
You may flour pans or sprinkle with sugar which gives a crusty edge to each slice.
(I like using sugar.)
