Almond-Apricot Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. milk
    3 c. biscuit mix
    3/4 c. finely chopped, unbleached almonds
    3/4 c. finely chopped, uncooked apricots
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    In large bowl with wooden spoon or mixer, beat egg and sugar well. Add milk and biscuit mix.
    Beat well.
    Stir in almonds, apricots and extract, mixing well.
    Turn batter into pan.
    Bake 55 to 60 minutes until tester comes out clean from center.
    Cool 10 minutes.
    Loosen sides with spatula.
    Cool completely on wire rack.
