Hint Of Honey Loaves(Makes 4 Loaves) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    2 1/4 c. milk, scalded
    1/4 c. vegetable shortening
    1/3 c. honey
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
    6 to 6 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. Quaker Oats, uncooked (quick or old-fashion)
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water.
    Pour milk over shortening, honey and salt; cool to lukewarm.
    Stir in 2 cups flour.
    Add dissolved yeast and oats; mix well.
    Stir in enough additional flour to make soft dough.
    Turn out onto lightly floured surface; knead 8 to 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic.
    Shape to form ball.
    Place in greased large bowl, turning once to coat surface of dough. Cover; let rise in warm place about 1 hour or until double in half; roll out each half to form a 15 x 9-inch rectangle.
    Roll up, starting with narrow ends; press together ends and seam to seal.
    Place in 2 greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pans.
    Brush lightly with melted butter.
    Cover; let rise about 45 minutes or until nearly double in size.
    Bake in preheated 375\u00b0 oven for about 45 minutes.
    Remove from pans and cool on wire rack.
