Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped carrots
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 green pepper
    1/4 c. flour
    4 c. milk
    2 c. chicken broth
    2 c. shredded cheese (American)
Preparation
    Saute vegetables in butter until a little tender.
    Add flour, milk and chicken broth.
    Stir until mixed slightly.
    Simmer for 10 minutes or more.
    Stir in cheese.
    Simmer until cheese is melted.
