Banana-Apricot Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. mashed, ripe bananas
1 c. finely cut dried apricots
Preparation

Soak apricots until soft.
Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Add apricots.
Cream shortening. Add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and beat well. Add flour mixture alternately with bananas.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour in 9 x 5 x 3 pan.
