Hand Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    2 Tbsp. Crisco
    3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift flour; cut in shortening and add milk slowly, stirring until dough is soft and moist.
    Knead lightly.
    May be patted out 1/2 inch thick and cut with a cutter or pinch off balls of dough and roll in hand; flatten as you place in pan.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until light golden brown.
