Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream margarine, 1 1/2 cup sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
    In a separate bowl, combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture until well blended. Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes.
    Combine remaining 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon in flat open bowl.
    Shape dough into 2-inch balls and roll in cinnamon-sugar.
    Place 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
    Makes 2 dozen cookies.
    Freezes up to 3 months.
