Sour Cream-Raisin Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. quick cooking oats (uncooked)
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
    2 c. raisins
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 egg yolks
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Combine oats, flour, soda, salt and brown sugar in a large bowl; cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. Reserve 1 1/2 cups mixture for topping.
    Press remaining mixture into a lightly greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch jellyroll pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Remove from oven and set aside.
    Combine sour cream and remaining ingredients in a large saucepan; stir well.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture is thickened.
    Pour over prepared crust.
    Sprinkle with reserved topping mixture; gently press topping mixture with fingertips. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Cool in pan on a wire rack.
    Cover and chill 4 hours or until firm.
    Cut into bars.
    Yield:
    5 dozen.
