Julekake(Norwegian Christmas Bread) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 1/2 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. melted butter
    1/2 lb. fruit and peel
    1/2 lb. raisins
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cardamon
    2 pkg. yeast
    1 (16 oz.) can evaporated milk
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar, salt, fruit, raisins and cardamon in large bowl.
    In separate bowl, mix yeast with warm water (8 ounces). Add to flour mixture.
    Melt butter and add to flour.
    Mix well and knead.
    Let rise to double in size (overnight).
    The next day, knead on floured surface.
    Divide into 4 loaves, place in greased loaf pans and let rise one hour.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and brush with melted butter and sugar.
    Return to oven for 15 minutes longer.
    Remove from pan and cool.
