Oven Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat, cut up (do not brown)
    6 to 8 stalks celery, cut in 2-inch pieces
    6 to 8 carrots, cut up into 2-inch pieces
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
    3 onions, sliced thin
    4 potatoes, cut in squares
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. red wine
    6 Tbsp. tapioca
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in heavy casserole or Dutch oven.
    Cover and bake at 250\u00b0 for 5 hours, at 300\u00b0 for 4 hours or 350\u00b0 for 3 hours.
