Fresh Berries And Cream(Rote Grutze) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. apricots, sliced
1 lb. dark red cherries, pitted
1 lb. strawberries
1 lb. raspberries
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. heavy cream
Preparation

Put apricots and cherries in saucepan and add enough water to cover.
Stew the fruits slowly.
When the apricots and cherries are almost done, add the strawberries.
Do not overcook.
Add sugar slowly and taste for desired sweetness.
Add the raspberries and bring to a boil.
Remove from stove; add the gelatin.
Chill in refrigerator 2 hours or more.
Serve with heavy cream or vanilla sauce.
